MICHELLE NGUYEN
M.S. OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Michelle is a licensed occupational therapist who is passionate about working with children to reach their fullest potential through play-based activities. She believes that the key to a child’s success is to make sessions fun and engaging by customizing treatment plans with the child’s curiosities, sensory needs and disposition in mind. A child who has their sensory needs met, is supported in exploring their environment, and is nurtured to try new things (no matter how big or small) is a child that will grow and make progress towards their goals.
Michelle received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York and holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Human Development from California State University, Long Beach. Her OT experience has revolved around both school and clinic-based services. Michelle’s goal is to empower children with the tools to be independent in their daily lives through creative, fun and engaging activities while also building connections with them and their families.
When she is not working, Michelle enjoys hand embroidery, spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
