Ornament Craft

We LOVE the holidays not only for the food and the lights, but also for the festive crafts! Check out this ornament your kids can decorate and make their own personal keepsake for your tree! 

Materials:

  • Ornament Template
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
  • Red Construction Paper
  • Hole Puncher
  • String

Step 1:

After printing out the ornament template, cut it out.

Step 2:

Glue the cut out ornament onto red construction paper and let it dry.

Step 3:

Cut out the ornament again once dried for extra stability.

Step 4:

Place glue (just a dot, not a lot) onto ornament.

Step 5:

Put tissue paper on each of the glue dots, or tear colored construction paper for extra fine motor strengthening into smaller pieces and glue onto the ornament.

Step 6:

Use the hole puncher to make a hole at the top and place a string through and enjoy it on your tree!
