Penguin Ornament Craft

Penguins are winter’s cutest inspiration. This playful craft invites kids to color, cut, and assemble their own Arctic buddy—great for fine-motor practice, creative expression, and a cheerful display at home or school. Make it a simple art piece or add a string to turn it into a charming ornament.

Materials:

  • Penguin Template 
  • Crayons (Black and Orange) 
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Blue Construction Paper
  • White Marker 
  • Hole puncher (optional)
  • String (optional)

Step 1:

Color inside the penguin with black and orange crayon.

Step 2:

Cut out colored penguin pieces.

Step 3:

Glue the penguin pieces onto the blue construction paper.

Step 4:

Cut around the penguin leaving some room and decorate the background with snow using a white marker

Step 5:

Use your hole puncher to make a hole and place a string inside for an ornament piece! (optional)
