Spooky Halloween House!

It’s Halloween time and with ghosts and ghouls around every corner, it’s a great time to make a spooky pre-writing shape haunted house! I love this craft because it combines pre-writing skills, scissor skills, with a spooky twist! Boost your little one’s handwriting skills by trying out this festive craft!

Materials:

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Orange crayon
  • White crayon
  • Black sheet paper
  • X 1 orange paper, x1 yellow paper, x1 red paper

Step 1:

Retrieve materials needed.

(Black sheet of paper, x3 colors for the spooky house, yellow, red, and orange sheets of paper, scissor, glue, and crayons- white and orange preferred)

Step 2:

Draw out shapes (x2 rectangles, x2 squares, x2 triangles, x1 circle)

Orange Paper
Yellow Paper

Step 3:

Cut out the shapes

Step 4:

Glue shapes onto paper as shown in the picture.

Step 5:

Decorate as preferred! Draw a ghost, pumpkins, spooky windows/doors.
