Corn Craft
Looking for an easy Thanksgiving decoration that will add a festive feel to your table? Try making these mini bead corn cobs! Your little ones will have fun and boost their hand manipulation skills by threading on these beads. With the pipe cleaners, it’s fun for all ages and boosts scissor skills and fine motor coordination.
Materials:
- 5 pipe cleaners
- Bag of beads
Step 1:
Place 5 pipe cleaners flat on table crossing over each other and fold it on itself.
Place each pipe cleaner on top of each other in preparation for the next step.
Step 2:
Fold pipe cleaners down in preparation for beading.
Once the pipe cleaners are placed on top of each other, start bending each pipe cleaner downwards forming the head of the corn.
Step 3:
Place beads onto each individual pipe cleaner (as many as you want).
Step 4:
Cut the ends of the pipe cleaners and twist forming the root of the corn.
Step 5:
Twist the bottom for the stem.
